Billet Aluminum Anodized Axle Adjuster Plates for pre-2002 Monsters with Steel or Aluminum Swingarm and 17mm Axle. These will fit all Monsters up to and including 2001. Fitment includes all M600, M750, and M900 Monsters. Please make sure your bike has a 17mm (between 5/8 and 11/16 inch) axle with a 22mm nut on both sides. We offer another plate for Monsters with the 25mm axle. Specify Steel or Aluminum Swingarm, the plates are slightly different. Steel swingarms do not have a ridge running along the top and bottom edge like aluminum swingarms and you could obviously stick a magnet to a steel swingarm to check. These Axle Plates are precision CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and then anodized to enhance beauty and prevent corrosion. They are wider and twice as thick as the flimsy stock plates, and wrap around the bottom of the swingarm farther to prevent turning. Also included with the two plates are stainless steel shim washers to be installed under the axle nut. This washer further insures the plate will not seize to the nut and damage the swingarm when the axle nut is loosened. This is a proven design that will save your expensive swingarm from damage and dress up your bike at the same time.
